Start with yourself and ask the question, “What can I do to make myself a better person?  What can I do to make the world a better place?”  Begin with something simple and work at your own pace to the more difficult tasks.   What’s important is that you focus on your passion.  Focus on what moves you in a positive direction. It may be something that contributes to people or the environment.  What you choose could help in a small  way or in a large way.    It might be as simple as smiling more when you say “Hello” to a stranger or merely complimenting someone.  You’d be surprised at how you can affect someone with a small gesture.  These are ways to change your life, and in doing that,  you begin to change how others relate, see and interact with you and others in their lives.

This can begin a chain reaction of positive intentions and hopefully good deeds spreading. There are wonderful examples of this already out there in the world such as “Because I Said I Would”, “Pay it Forward”, ”Mission Possible” and  “Spreading Kindness.org” to name just a few.

It can be exciting and invigorating to begin a project that you feel good about.  Working on something that may positively affect the lives of other people can give you a wonderful feeling of fulfillment and joy.  When we put the time and effort into something of value no matter what happens there is always a benefit.  Act on your ideas and passions that can make a constructive difference is someone’s life, or many lives for that matter and experience those good feelings when you do.
Make a difference.
